Treatment that matches Englewood’s mixed, working-class community.
Englewood is one of the metro’s older suburbs — about 33,000 residents in a mix of single-family homes, apartments, and the medical district anchored by Swedish Medical Center and Craig Hospital. Substance use disorder cuts across all of it, and we see Englewood clients regularly: from working professionals to Medicaid members, from clients new to treatment to clients with multiple prior episodes who deserve continuity instead of restarts.
We’re about 11 miles east via I-225 — typically a 20-minute drive.
Why Englewood residents come to Paramount
Medicaid-friendly, no out-of-pocket for most. Health First Colorado (Medicaid) covers residential, IOP, outpatient, and medication-assisted treatment at no out-of-pocket cost for most members. Many Englewood residents don’t realize the coverage is this complete — verification is free and confidential.
No 12-step requirement. Englewood has a long-standing recovery community, but we don’t require participation in 12-step or any specific recovery framework. Our clinical model is evidence-based — CBT, DBT, EMDR, MAT — and we work with clients on whatever recovery framework supports their goals.
Continuity for repeat treatment. Many Englewood clients have been through treatment before. We don’t restart from zero — your prior records inform your current treatment plan, and if you’ve used MAT before, we continue (or adjust) instead of pulling you off and seeing what happens.
Family programming that’s not optional. Recovery doesn’t stick in isolation. Multi-family groups on weekends, partner sessions on weeknight evenings — built into every level of care, no extra cost.
Programs Englewood clients use most
Residential into IOP. For severe alcohol or opioid use disorder, 30 to 40 days residential followed by 45 to 90 days IOP. Most Englewood clients use the evening IOP track three days per week so they can keep working.
IOP and outpatient combined. For clients with strong home structure, IOP three evenings per week with weekly individual therapy continues for months. Step-down to outpatient happens when clinical team and client both feel ready.
Medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Buprenorphine, naltrexone, methadone coordination, and other FDA-approved medications managed by our medical team. MAT is one tool among several — never used in isolation, never withheld out of stigma.
